Welcome to my website!


This website is dedicated to students enrolled in AP Literature and Compostition. This site offers information on the AP exam itself and the class you will be taking. I'll present information that makes Literature interesting and fun. Of course, I'll want to include plenty of links so students can explore a wealth of ideas on the web. Once you have truly navigated this site expect to have at least a 3 on the AP Exam.

Be prepared to read classic literature such as Shakespeare and other classic authors. Knowing literature is not only important but analyzing poems is key to this class and the test.
 
Make yourself familiar with famous poems such as T.S. Eliot's the Hollow Man and other famous poems.

Know the time periods in which literature falls. The -ism's of literature is really important to this class. Be aware of romanticism, naturalism, and all the other -ism's in order to give your essay a correct time period.
Remember that literature is affected by certain time periods.
